Dear LSU Seniors,
On behalf of all the Tiger fans around the world, it gives me great pleasure to express how wonderful and great you ladies are. There are not enough words in the dictionary to explain or describe how amazing and magnificent all of you girls are. This season has been such a fun ride. There is no better feeling in the world than cheering you ladies on to victory. It don’t matter if y’all win or lose; in my eyes, the best softball team in America resides in Baton Rouge.
I still cant believe the season has come down to the last home series of the regular season. And that means we have to honor and acknowledge the wonderful seniors who have contributed so much to the program. Emily Griggs- your smile and grit will never be replaced. Sydney Loupe- your character and dignity has kept the team focused all year long. Allie Walljasper- you are the silent assassin who anchored the success of LSU all four years. And Carley Hoover- your statue needs to be built outside Tiger Park because you were the best to ever do it.
My heart is filled with joy anytime I am able to attend the games and see each and every one of you live out your dreams on the highest stage in softball. I am confident that from here on out, you ladies will play with energy, passion, excitement, and a drive that will be unmatched. Greatness is attached to the DNA of LSU from the coaches to the players. It is my prayer that God enables all of you to play to the best of your ability. Play for the fans, play for your school, play for your family, play for your friends, and above all, play for yourself………
